It is very important to educate about the dangers and traps of psychedelics like you did here. There are tons of accounts of people who lost the respect of them, took large doses casually and got a cosmic slap - T. McKenna included. But you are also writing from a US-perspective where psychedelics are "mainstream" like you said - this is not the case with 90 percent of the rest of the world. LSD and Mushrooms still have the same image as meth and heroin to the vast majority of people. There is a lot of education and clearing up to do about their advantages - as well as dangers- , so we can decriminalise and regulate it and learn to use them wisely. I still believe they do can have a positive impact on the world - and not only make the crazy crazier
